Christmas Beauty Faves

I'm not normally one for glitter and sparkle but at Christmas I make an exception and this year I've been loving it. I thought I would talk about a few products that I use more around this time of year to make myself feel all Christmassy!

I love a bit of festive sparkle on my nails. Glitter polishes are one of those products that can be a bit of a nuisance as the majority need a million coats and they're a pain in the arse to get off. I've picked out a couple that do not have any of these problems- hurrah! The Barry M ones are a bargain and looks so pretty layered over another colour, I would highly recommend them. Also, the Topshop colour in Dark Knight is great, the polish has a slight colour to it rather than just being clear meaning you could use it on its own if you wanted as well.

Ok, so setting spray is something I use religiously anyway but I thought I'd give this one a mention- Urban Decay All Nighter. It prolongs make up and is a handy size for taking out in your handbag,

I am a lipstick junkie, my stash is excessive but I don't care! These two in particular are great for the festive season... there is just something about red lipstick. My favourite red lipstick is one that was actually a limited edition (sorry!) its Mac Riri Woo, Ruby Woo is very similar though so thats a safe bet. Looks perfect with Cherry lipliner. I've also found myself reaching for this Burberry lippie in Oxblood a fair bit recently which is lovely deep wine shade, the formula is sheer though so you can build it up or wear it more naturally. Also, note the amazing packaging on this one.

Eyeshadows are the best way to bring a bit of glitz to the face without looking too OTT. Pigments are brilliant for this and these three are my faves. Vanilla and Rose are loose pigments by Mac, I never buy the full size versions as they take forever to finish so these mini ones are ideal. Deeply Dashing is a pressed pigment, so a little less messy. I find these pigments all work better with a damp brush, Mac's Fix Plus works really well... quick spritz and the colours come out beautifully.

I recently got my hands on the Stila In The Light palette which I had been eyeing up FOREVER and it was so worth the wait. My favourite shade is Kitten as its so sparkly and eye-catching. I have used this for lots of Christmas outings as it works perfectly for creating different looks.

Have a lovely Christmas,

Jasmine Xxx
