Lazy make up days

You know the feeling, some days doing a full face of make up seems such an effort or you're just really in a rush. On these days it's very rare that I'll leave the house with no make up on what so ever so it's safe to say I have my lazy day make up routine perfected.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser is where I head first as its a great light weight base for oily skinned peeps. A blob of this goes a long way so I dot it around my face before buffing it in with a buffing brush but you could easily just get in there with your fingers. Even with a light base I do still use a few different concealers especially if I need to fake a good nights sleep! I'll use something to brighten up my dark under eyes such as the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer which I rave about, on days where I need even more help I reach for the Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Highlighter and layer it on top just to brighten up that area. Then I'll go in with the Mac Studio Finish Concealer to cover up any spots I have lurking about. I keep cheeks really low maintenance and just use a dusting of blush to get some colours in my cheeks so I look a bit more alive, something like the Natural Collection in Peach Melba works a treat.

L-R Natural Collection Peach Melba, Mac All That Glitters, Mac Boldly Bare, Stila Smudge Stick in Damsel

For eyes I really don't do much at all, I'll use a wash of shadow all over the lid such as Mac All That Glitters, its a lovely shimmery, pale gold type shade that gives the eye lids a bit of a lift. Then I'll finish with a brown liner in the water line and a little along the top lid, Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Damsel, stays put really well. Finally I'll put on a few coats of a volumising mascara, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara makes lashes look huge, I love it. I'll also tame my brows with the Loreal Brow Artist Plumper.

Lips are either a slick of lip balm or if I do fancy a bit of colour I'll use a lip pencil all over my lips as I know it won't need loads of reapplication, Mac Boldly Bare works a treat.

What products are in your lazy day make up routine?
