Make up bag regulars

I switch up my make up quite a lot as I'm always trying out new things and digging out products I haven't used for a while but lately I have noticed there are a few items that have become staples in my make up bag... I thought it would be fun to talk through them with you, some are things that I've been using for yonks and some are things that I have been using a lot lately and I feel have made themselves very at home in my daily make up stash.

I was in the market for a new pressed powder which is a handbag essential for me and my oily skin, the one I had just wasn't cutting it and looked absolutely disgusting, poor thing. I ended up going for the Mac Pro Longwear Powder Pressed in Light Plus. I've been using this every day since I got it for touch ups and I've been really liking it, it adds a bit of coverage and sort of mushes all my make up back together if the oil has made its way to the surface.

A blush that has made itself comfy in my make up bag is the Tarte Amazonian Clay 24 Hour Blush in Exposed which is a b-e-a-utiful. I've rambled on about this a lot in previous posts so I'll say no more and move on.....

I have expressed my love for both of these lips products before but they have become fixtures in my beauty routine, they both look great and are so low maintenance. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss in Kristen and Nyx Liquid Suede in Sandstorm are both nudes and go with so many eye looks. Normally I'm all about bold, bright lippies but lately I've been favouring more neutral low key colours and these fit that category perfectly.

I've added my first Zoeva palette to my collection and decided to go for the Cocoa Blend as it seems to be so bloody popular. I have a full review coming up on this very soon but I just wanted to mention now that I have been loving this and and highly recommend it.

I am on my third one of each of these and honestly can't find anything else that I would trade them for, these are probably the two biggest consistencies in my make up bag as they get the job done and do it well. The first is the Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in Black which I am very loyal to, this is the only black pencil liner I will use, its a bargain and stays put, its very black and intense. Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara is my lashes BFF, it makes them look huge and voluminous, I try other mascaras out but a new tube of this always finds its way back into my life.

Nyx Slide On Glide On eyeliner in Jewel is a new addition but I've been using it a lot. It's a gorgeous purple shade and the formula is smooth and long lasting, I've been super impressed and have a feeling I'll be getting a few more of these in the near future.

Right, I have been using the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony for months on end now and I absolutely love it. Word of warning though I do find you need a light hand with it as your brows can end up looking a bit wet and weird if you go in too enthusiastically. I'm very keen to try out some new brow products now though as I haven't strayed from this for so long, please leave me a recommendation or two!

Do you have any make up bag regulars that just don't seem to disappear from your routine?
