The Autumn make up update- Nails

There has always been something about Autumn that I love, getting all wrapped up and cosy. With a new season brings an update of my daily make up bag, away goes the tinted moisturiser and out come the vampy lippies and metallic eyes. I spent an hour or so recently switching things about and I thought about how much I love the colours of Autumnal make up so decided to share my update with you lovely peeps. I've put together a mini series and first up is nails...

Let's start with reds as I have a couple that I wear far too much throughout this time of year. I have had the Maybelline Super Stay 7 Days nail polish in Divine Wine in my collection for several years now and I'm glad to have it back in my make up bag. It's a gorgeous red shade that leans slightly on the berry side and on my fair skin shade its so flattering. For a really Autumnal red the Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Chili is it, its a rusty, burnt kind of red colour which is just perfect.

The other three I wanted to mention are all Essie shades, I was going to only mention one from Essie but I couldn't narrow it down, I'm sure you'll all cope. If you love pastel colours in the summer and are looking for similar shades for the Autumn then all of these will work a treat for you. Chinchilly is one of those colours I always hear so much about and I totally understand why, my description probably won't make it sound very nice but here goes.... It's a muted grey shade with a hint of brown thrown in. I know it doesn't sound the nicest but trust me, this looks so smart and chic on nails and will go with all outfits so it's completely fuss free.

Cocktail Bling is a another grey shade but you can see this is definitely more blue. I would say the biggest part of my nail collection are the blues so its only fitting that I have one for every single occasion.

Finally Maximillian Strasse-Her is an absolute gem, mint nails always look great but this one has more of a (you guessed it) grey undertone and I think its a really nice way of incorporating some colour.

Which nail shades do you always dig out at this time of year? Please leave me a comment to let me know :)
