November Favourites 2016

I haven't done a monthly favourite for yonks but this month there are some things I can't resist sharing with you all. Aren't they pretty?

I picked up the Becca Blushed With Light Palette recently after eyeing up Becca blushes every time I was in a Space NK. It's a pretty good deal, you get three shades presented in beautiful packaging for £32. The pans are smaller than the usual ones but it would take me forever to finish s full size one of these blushes as they are so pigmented. It features an exclusive shade Wisteria which is a dirty rose colour, a mineral blush in Songbird which is a lovely peachy shade and Snapdragon which looks so bright in the pan but actually reminds me a little of Nars' Orgasm blush. I've been travelling a lot this month and this has come in so handy as it covers all your blush needs! Love it.

I go through such phases with foundations but throughout November Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Foundation was the one for me. It gives me skin such a boost in this cold weather, I feel like it gives just the right amount of glow whilst also keeping the natural oil in my skin at bay. I would definitely say this is a medium to full coverage formula, which personally I prefer, but it doesn't make your skin look caked in make up or anything like that. If you're looking for a new foundation I would definitely go and test this one out, its designed for all skin types which is genius.

The Illamasqua Beyond Powder in OMG is something that was a complete impulse buy for me. I have never heard anything about this but tested it out on the display and that was it, this was coming home with me. It's a stunning gold toned highlight which is so striking. I don't tend to wear it during the day as it is so intense but for nights out I have been piling this on like there is no tomorrow.

A monthly favourites from me would not be complete without some lip products would it? Mac Creme In Your Coffee Cremesheen lippie and Mac Pro Longwear Lipliner in Morning Coffee have been my go to day time lip combo. If you're keen to try out the 90's brown lip trend but want something thats a little more toned down then these are great options. The Pro Longwear lip pencils last like nothing else so they work as a great base for lipsticks, this is particularly handy as I do find the cremesheen formula of Mac lipsticks aren't always the longest wearing but with this lipliner they last ages.

Last but not least I added to my collection of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks with the shade Bow And Arrow, which is another brown toned nude. I have been loving this with a bronze/ copper toned smokey eye look with tonnes of eyeliner and mascara. I really do enjoy a brown lip these days, theres just something about them thats so flattering and chic.

I cannot believe that my next 'favourites' post will be my 2016 one, where on earth has this year gone?

Have a great week,
