Make Up Bag Regulars- Day to day

I thought it was about time I gave you an update on products that are staples in my make up routine at the moment. I try to mix things up as much as I can but you know how it is, there are certain products you just go through phases with where you're a little obsessed.

Soap & Glory Speed Plump All Day Super Moisture Marvel- I got this in the big bumper gift set S&G released at Christmas and have been using it ever since. I like that its hydrating but that it also absorbs quickly, doesn't leave you an oily mess and has a nice scent. It's nothing extra special but it gets the job done.

Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara- I tend to be quite good with just using one mascara at a time, I hate the idea of having loads open that all end up drying out before I have had a chance to finish them. I have been using this S&G one lately and even though it isn't my fave (that award goes to the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara) I have grown to like it. It adds a decent amount of volume to my lashes and gives them a nice curl that lasts throughout the day. I'm not sure I would rush to repurchase it but I wouldn't not repurchase it either, if that makes any sense?!

Nyx HD Eyeshadow Primer- I tried to use other eye primers, I did, I swear but this is my favourite now and I can't be without it. This does not get the credit it deserves and that makes me sad so I am going to make it my mission to get people giving this a try. You just dab a bit on, rub it into your eyelid, wait a mixture or so and then get applying your eyeshadow. I get no creasing with this and it definitely increases the longevity of my eye make up.

Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Espresso- I feel like I've been harping on about this a fair bit recently so soz for that but thats because this does such a good job at keeping my brows in check. The spoolie works wonders for restoring some order and the thin pencil end means I can fill my brows in without them looking too harsh. I'm also impressed with how long this has lasted, I thought it would run out in lightening speed but its still going strong after several weeks.

Lush Lip Scrub- this particular one pictured is a Christmas one I'm using up but I always make sure I have one of these to hand as my lips get so dry and flakey. Every day I use lippie I prep my lips with this little gem first to create a smoother application. Also, these lipscrubs taste pretty damn good.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Line in Black- I've been a slave to this eyeliner for years for a number of reasons; its a bargain (£3.99), its super black, it doesn't transfer and its so easy to work with. I have recently tried to ease up a bit with using this as I always used it in my inner waterline which really does make your eyes look smaller. However, I still use it often on my top lash line, a swipe along it and quickly blended out and you're good to go.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte and Poreless- My absolute go to foundation at the moment, as I'm sure you will know if you are a regular reader. As a quick recap though, this is easy to apply, gives a matte finish to my skin and lasts well. For a day to day foundation I have been reaching for this a lot.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer- An oldie but a goodie. I always end up going back to this concealer, don't get me wrong there are other ones I like, but you really cant go wrong with this one for the price (£4.19). It gives the most amazing coverage, many times has this disguised a late night or a lurker on my chin, I have been so pleased to have this back in my make up bag lately, after stupidly not owning it for a while, this is something I will always have a back up of from now on.

Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Powder- This is more of a handbag essential but I thought I would chuck it in for good measure. I rely on this powder every single day to bring down any oil my skin has produced a notch or two and this does the job better than any other pressed powder I have given a whirl. Not oil does it sort the oil situation out but it doesn't leave your skin looking really cakey like some other pressed powders do, funnily enough that isn't ever really the look I'm going for!

I hope you've enjoyed this virtual snoop through my daily make up bag my loves, as always leave me a comment to let me know what you think.
