May faves 2017

I have a lot to rattle through this month as I tried so many new bits and bobs!

Ardell Demi Wispies- Ok, so these weren't new to me but a repurchase. These lashes have got to be my absolute favourite falsies and since having them back in my life I've fallen in love all over again. They add such fluttery volume to your lashes but they still don't look too OTT. The band is also invisible which makes it really easy to glue them on and disguise them with your lash line.

Too Faced Natural Love palette- I did a full review on this palette earlier in the month which will show you the gorgeous shades in all their glory. The packaging is also stunning and just so 'Too Faced', when they bring out new collections I always get excited because the packaging is always to die for. I got into this more and more as the month went on and the wide range of shades means you can create tonnes of different looks. It's quite big so probably not the best for travelling but day to day I've just been enjoying playing around with this.

Essence Satin Touch Blush in Satin Love- Again, I did a full review on several Essence products but this was the standout one for me. First of all, its a £1 so a total bargain. It's a perfect natural, mauvey/pink shade with just the right amount of sheen to give your skin a glow. This has been my absolute go to as its a versatile colour and lasts well on the skin.

Nyx Suede Matte Lipliners in Sandstorm and Soft Spoken- I bloody love these lipliners! I got the shades that match my two favourite Liquid Suedes from Nyx and they are fantastic. Easily to apply, soft, great pigmentation, decent staying power and comfortable on the lips. Oh, and they're £4 so a steal when you compare to other brands like Mac. The shade range is vast too so I really can't recommend these enough, I can't wait to get more in my collection.

Armani Si- A perfume that had been on my wishlist for ages so I finally caved and bought it (in duty-free so slightly more justifiable right?). The best way I can think to describe this is sweet yet musky, you can definitely smell a floral element in there. It's quite a distinct scent and does linger on the skin a long time which I like, it's so annoying when perfume disappears after a couple of hours. I am so pleased to finally have this in my perfume stash.

Travel Perfume Pod- The handiest thing I have bought for a long time! I got this for travelling and its just genius. It fits 5ml of perfume which is around 65 sprays so plenty to last you through a holiday and its just perfect for chucking in your handbag. The only place I have seen these available is Boots for £7.99 which in my opinion is completely worth it.

Imperial Leather Marshmallow Bath Cream and Moroccan Spa Bath Cream- I love a bath and these caught my eye. The Marshmallow one smells exactly as I hoped it would and the Moroccan one has a zesty scent which is uplifting and refreshing. You only need a little bit for loads of bubbles to be produced so the bottles will last me a fair while (well hopefully, I do have a LOT of baths!).

L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Purity Foam Wash- I love the clay masks Loreal released so when I saw that face washes had been added to the range I knew I had to get one. This has quite a light formula and foams up as your apply it to wet skin. It has been melting my make up away easily and quickly and leaving my skin squeaky clean. Parts of my skin are relatively oily and this helps a lot to mattify that.

What were you loving in May?
