My Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Collection

I have been meaning to do this post for so long now and it's finally time, hooray! Kat Von D's make up range on the whole is impressive, she releases great formulas with extensive shade ranges and I've always loved the uniqueness of the brand.

One of my favourite products has got to be the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, in fact this is the first product I ever tried from Kat Von D. I went to New York a couple of years ago (this was before Kat Von D launched in the the UK) and I remember me and my friend in the Time Square Sephora at about 10pm, very jet lagged but frantically buying all the shades in stock. For that reason alone this lippie will always have a special place in my heart.

These liquid lipsticks retail for £17 and they come in a long, super slim tube. I've heard a few people say that as the applicator is longer than the norm it makes it a little tricky to control when applying but personally I've never had this issue.

The formula is fairly opaque and dries down quickly but I do find with some of the shades a second coat really helps to intensify the colour. They have a beautiful matte finish which doesn't dry out the lips. They don't stay put forever but the longevity is still fairly decent with maybe a reapplication being needed once or twice throughout the day.

I have seven shades in total and hope to get a few more in the near future.

Plath
This is my newest addition and the only colour I own from the new shades released a while back. I didn't have another shade similar to this in my collection so I snapped it up as soon as I swatched it. It's a deep burnt red brown which is right up my street. I like that it does have the brown tone to it as it makes it a bit more unique.

Berlin
One of the lesser worn shades from my Kat Von D stash but looking at it again I really don't know why as its a gorgeous, vibrant red/pink. I think I'm going to have to keep this handy for when the weather heats up a bit more as I love a pop of colour at that time of year.

Mother
Another bright one! It's a beautiful blue toned pink, almost bubble gum pink. This isn't a typical 'me' shade but I always enjoy wearing it. Again, this will look beaut in the Spring months.

Double Dare
Still on the pink theme here and whilst this one is still stand out its a little more muted than 'Mother' making it more wearable in my opinion.

Lolita
Probably the shade Kat Von D is most famous for. This is easily one of my favourites, its just a perfect dirty rose colour. I reach for this on a very regular basis, in fact I can't remember the last time it wasn't in my daily make up bag.

Lolita II
Another shade I am obsessed with, in fact I would pick this over the original Lolita, but only just! It's a stunning terracotta tone that I just can't get enough of. I must wear this at least once a week. I also find that this seems to have a slightly better formula than all the others as it doesn't need many touch ups throughout the day, if any.

Bow N Arrow
I got this on a bit of a whim as to be honest I didn't think it would suit me that much. I'm so glad I have it in my collection though as I don't have anything else like it. The best way I can think to describe this is a light grey toned brown, which I know doesn't make it sound appealing but honestly its amazing.

L-R Plath, Berlin, Mother, Double Dare, Lolita, Lolita II and Bow N Arrow

Overall do I recommend these? Yes! I think the colour range is insane, she does some really fun shades like blues if you fancy something really out there. But also a great mixture of day to day shades which are very versatile.

Which shades do you own? I'd love some recommendations to expand my collection.
